Baltic bias applies fully here, even though I think Atvara carries the song very well on her own.
First of all, her voice is in another league, being precise both in the studio version and live (I watched the Supernova final as it happened), and managing to captivate her listeners. The lyrics hit, even more if you understand them ("but one droplet turns you into tones of black and white"), and paint an image of what alcoholism can do to the direct surroundings of the affected person, all without mentioning it specifically. The staging is on the same level as Tautumeitas's - or even JJ's, I would very much want them to keep it that way!
But here's the thing that keeps me from giving the full divpadsmit punktu to Ēna: the song is simplistic, playing it safe, the chord progression stays the same all throughout the whole song. Besides, the song lacks lyrics - apart from two verses with 4 lines each and the chorus there isn't really that much! I hope this is enough for Atvara to go through the semifinal, which I don't think she would if the jury weren't there.

Latvia had an insane national selection this year between this, Te un tagad, and Blakus. Really glad they chose this over All We Ever Had!

Biased because it beat my favourite NF song ever, but song is alright and performance was nothing special

A pretty voice, but just feels like a boring ballad to me. Maybe after looking into the lyrics it’ll be more interesting, but my first impression is that it is dull.
